Kaya has worked in the field of Health and Fitness for the past 7 years. Prior to moving to Australia in June this 2011, she ran her own business in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which focused on Personal Training, Yoga and Nutrition.
Kaya has been practicing Yoga herself for 12 years. She has undertaken Yoga Teacher training both in the UK and in Mysore, India, and completed speciality courses in prenatal Yoga both in India and Australia. She is qualified and experienced in various styles of Yoga and often uses a blend of styles when teaching her classes, adapting and modifying as necessary to suit the individual needs of those she is teaching. Her background in Exercise Physiology and her deep knowledge of the Yoga practice ensures that the classes she conducts are always safe, effective and balancing.
Kaya especially enjoys teaching prenatal Yoga. She believes there is nothing more satisfying than working with a woman who is carrying a baby. Helping a body mind and spirit through those huge hormonal changes, and helping one to achieve calm and confidence in a changing body that has recently become home for two is the main passion of Kaya’s . During Kaya’s Prenatal Yoga classes one will learn how to cultivate calm and confidence in a developing pregnancy, flexibility and strengthening of those muscle groups vital to supporting ones pregnancy and will also focus on visualisation, meditation, relaxation and breath work to achieve optimum balance.
Starting from 19 April Thursday at 5:45 pm ( duration 1:30 minutes).
Cost $200 for 8 weeks course and $325 for 16 weeks
Kaya is also starting a morning dynamic Hatha Flow class at 6:00 am from Friday 20 April
