It helps you ensure your body is working at its optimal level all the time. When a group of muscles in the body are weak,it recruits other muscles to do their work and such compensations often lead to alignment problems, instability, pain and injury. For eg, a poor posture can lead to strain on your lower back muscles and changes the alignment of your pelvis and hip leading to back pain .
